The aim of this study was to reveal any relationships between gut microbiome composition and GDM in pregnant women at 24-28 weeks gestation. Fecal samples were collected from 124 pregnant women (43 GDM patients and 81 healthy control subjects) during 24-28 weeks gestation, as part of the Born in Guangzhou Cohort Study, China. The gut microbiota profiles were assessed by metagenomic shotgun sequencing to analyze microbial diversity at all taxonomic levels. Maternal GDM status was assessed by 2-hour 75g OGTT between the 24th and 28th week of gestation.</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sample derived from">SAMEA37079668</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sample name" harmonized_name="sample_name" display_name="sample name">ERR2013584_bin.4_CONCOCT_v1.1_MAG</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="scientific_name">Veillonella parvula</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sequencing method">Illumina HiSeq 2000</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="taxonomic identity marker">multi-marker approach</Attribute> </Attributes> <Status status="live" when="2023-01-05T08:29:14.180"/> </BioSample> </BioSampleSet>
