The present study forms a pilot study for the larger Luxembourg-based Diabetes Multiplex Family Study (MUST). Within the pilot study, we investigate the interplay of the gastrointestinal microbiota, lifestyle and genetic background in an observational study of families with two or more individuals affected by type 1 diabetes mellitus. Faecal samples which have undergone comprehensive biomolecular extractions are currently analysed using a multi-omics approach. Anthropometric data, including demographics, medical history, health status, medication, and dietary habits of all study participants were collected and are integrated with molecular data.</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sample derived from">SAMN09837342</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sample name" harmonized_name="sample_name" display_name="sample name">SRR8114102_bin.8_CONCOCT_v1.1_MAG</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="scientific_name">uncultured Eubacterium sp.</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="sequencing method">Illumina HiSeq 4000</Attribute> <Attribute attribute_name="taxonomic identity marker">multi-marker approach</Attribute> </Attributes> <Status status="live" when="2023-01-05T08:30:27.850"/> </BioSample> </BioSampleSet>
