SAMN33744835 MT Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b Our objective was to sequence the genome of Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b with higher coverage using a next-generation sequencing Nanopore MinION sequencer. The genome comprises one chromosome and three plasmids with coverages of 87x, 86x, 94x, and 89x, respectively. Chromosomal and plasmid lengths were observed to be 4,507,321 bp, 285,765 bp, 209,095 bp, and 180,221 bp, respectively. These results will aid in the annotation of hypothetical proteins and in identifying novel pathways relevant to environmental bioremediation and biodegradation.
